CHAIRMAN
Frank Walker OBE
A man that needs little introduction, Frank joined the charity first as a trustee before stepping up to the role of Chairman in 2000?
The former Chief Minister has a wealth of political and business experience, which helps keep the charity focused on the operational side and remaining fit for purpose as well as fighting for a cause.
Frank may sit at the top of the Sanctuary tree but he is not afraid of getting his hands dirty and helping out in the office, kitchen or taking part in all of our fundraising challenges.
In his free time, he loves walking his dog along the Island’s many beautiful beaches and travelling when he can with his wife, Fiona.
GENERAL MANAGER
Sarah Tumelty
After graduating from University with a degree in Criminology, Sarah briefly worked in Finance before joining Sanctuary Trust as a support worker.
A smart cookie, she quickly rose through the ranks to lead the team as General Manager in 2021.
Sarah has a particular interest in substance misuse and alongside her full time role, she is also studying for a qualification into the causes and solutions needed to address the issue.
Her passion for helping others is deep rooted with a real understanding of addiction due to close personal experiences.
Sarah loves to bake, box and be sociable with her friends when not in the office.

SLEEP OUT FOR SANCTUARY TRUST
20 NOVEMBER 2021
“Sleep Out for Sanctuary Trust is back and we would be delighted if you joined us for a fundraising night to remember. Due to the disappointment of having to cancel last year’s event, we are really hoping that Sleep Out 2021 will be fully supported by the community so that, together, we can raise some much needed funds for our homeless..
This year’s event will take place on Saturday 20th November in Pier Road car park and although it won’t be the most comfortable night you’ve ever spent it will be one of the most memorable..
So help us raise awareness and funds for some of the most vulnerable people in our community by signing up with friends, family or colleagues. We really hope to attract all ages and we are delighted that students from Victoria College will be getting involved this year by providing us with hot soup to keep us warm.
We will have buskers on site and breakfast rolls with hot tea and coffee in the morning.
